Spoke to their customer service today, they anticipate opening the Frisco and Allen locations this Wednesday (5-11).

It's gonna make it hard to get into Cabela's and the ice rink.

I'll give it a month or two for the hysteria to die down. Hard to beat some of the Mom and Pop stores around here for a good burger.

It isn't any better than mediocre.  I don't get it.

I'm thinking while everyone's beating down the door in Allen I'll have some Whataburger.

Currently the Dallas Morning News website features a picture/video of a woman crying tears of joy because In N Out opened here. How pathetic can you be to shed tears over a fast food restaurant? This kind of stuff is the reason why so many people outside of CA roll their eyes about In N Out.

The chair is against the wall.
The Californians are conveniently assembled and distracted.
You know what to do.

I used to live in CA and frequented In-n-Out.  It's good, but Mighty Fine is better.  http://mightyfineburgers.com/#/home

I'd love to see a White Castle down here.

I got a chance to eat at White Castle several years ago when I did a job in Ohio.  IMO, their burgers seriously lacked in any flavor, and I do mean ANY.  The only appeal I could see was the volume of food for cheap for all the starving college students...

On occasion it has been hard to get into Fred's....usually after that episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives is aired.

I don't get this place either. I've had In-n-0ut 2x while in Vegas, I wasn't very impressed. As drive through burger joints go, I'd give it a solid meh. Whataburger is far superior IMHO.

For a good solid burger, I'll stick with JC's burger house.

I was looking to give it a shot in a couple of weeks when things calmed down, but I'm almost repulsed by the behavior of their proud patrons. I pretty much don't want to try it anymore. Oh well, Whataburger #5 has yet to let me down.

On Woods street just south of Taylor. Go early or late. Hard to get in and get a table from 11am till about 1pm. Usually has Austin College girls as wait staff. I think they have a brew pub on University in Denton too. Pretty good chicken fried steak too.

When I was a kid in Corpus I'd sometimes would go to a place called Redline. Awesome burgers and super cheap.

The best burger in Texas is at the Alamo City Cafe outside of Fredricksburg. Way the hell out in the middle of nowhere.

It's a friggin McDonalds..what's the big deal?????  You eat it, digest it and then flush it.

If I'm going to drive 30 minutes to try a burger I might try that Heart Attack Grill place, but not a fucking McDonalds.

Headed down to DFW for some In N Out one of these days.     It's not just another McDonald's.  The fresh food really does make a difference.  Is just the one location open?  When do the others open?

As of now, there won't be one in Garland.

I think they canned the project when they realized they couldn't pass the health inspection.

But, there will be one by Northpark Mall, and one up on 635 at 75.
