This is down the hill from my house....between the house and the lake. Must be about 500 vehicles parked all over our neighborhood. About that many parked along the main roads and in the new housing development too. Enough people that they are interfering with the GFD and the other local departments that have come to help. Took me about 45 minutes to go about 1/2 mile to get to my house.

I have no friggin clue why so many people came here to watch a brush fire.
A bit of the fire is still burning, no way to get to it, unless you bring in aircraft and do a water drop. Wylie FD still out here and a lot of Garland FD most everyone else has left........'cept for the gawkers. mm |
