Bring your items to the City of Dallas sponsored 2010 Annual Home Chemical Collection Day.


Who: City of Dallas Residents  (*and Residents of Dallas County HHW Network Member Cities.Please bring recent utility bill.)

When:            Sat., Oct. 23, 2010  9:00am - 3:00pm (rain or shine)



Where: Southwest Center Mall

3662 W. Camp Wisdom

Dallas, TX 75237

The collection are will be in the mall parking lot near Sears (along the south-bound US-67 frontage road).

LOL...no. I grew up in Lancaster, but went to that mall a lot. I remember when it was a decent mall. Not so much anymore.

TCEQ and TDA had one yesterday in Parker Co., but they took damn near anything, no questions asked. We had inherited a bunch of old pesticides in deteriorating containers, I dropped off a pickup truck load. I know some of it was pretty nasty, and I was glad to be rid of it.

Before Walmart and Home Depot took over everything, this is where we went for stuff. I remember Dad buying hot water heaters at Montgomery Wards and Sears.

I was thinking that it would have been pretty neat to grow up in a mall.  Kinda like those kids that live in Grand Central Station.
