I shot there once or twice back in 2004 when I lived down there, and I have to agree that the berms could use a little more elevation. Champion is the place to go for handguns, this is one of the few places to shoot rifles, it would be sad to lose it because of some idiots. |

At the larue 3gun match, my squad had a supersonic flier come over us from stage 6 while we waited for another stage. That means someone shot clean over the berm. We also had a ricochet buzz over us at another stage.
If you have action shooting, you will have people shoot over the berm. Short rounds bounce over them as well. ETA: This post is NOT to imply that the Larue Shoot was at the location this email is about. |
