My Glock 17 with 5-17Rnd mags and Galco IWB (behind the back) holster + bladetech OWB holster.

For.

Sig P226 with 5 mags, C-TAC, bladetech OWB and extra factory grips.

Both guns are pretty well used (I don't know what his has through it, but mine is around 7k rounds).

Think it's worth going for?

My disdain for SIg's and all double/single handguns is pretty well known among several people here. Keep the glock unless you just have gobs of them already and what to unlearn everything you did while shooting them. Just my opinion.

it aint held in very high regard by most....

I've owned both. It's a fair trade if you want a Sig. Personally, I prefer striker fired handguns to DA/SA.

value wise it would be a fair trade. but like others have said, if your a glock guy, it might be hard to switch to a sig. i know for me it is.

Value wise it's a good trade.

I have a glock 17 and carry a P229 and I don't have any issues going back and forth.
