Listening to the police scanner while cooking dinner. They've been shooting a rap video at Bruton and Prairie Creek. They finally closed the parking lot at 7pm because there were so many people. At 7:30 they started closing the street because of the crowd. Now 2 people shot. Watch the news.
Lots of cops, talk of pepperball etc. |

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. They found a couple of bodies in a dumpster in that same parking lot a few years back.
I work in this area and one of the elementary schools I work with is also in The Grove. Sometimes I wonder how any of these kids make it to graduation. |
