I have to be in Houston part of this week...so any shops that might have any of the following?

Blackpowder firearms - particularly flintlocks (modern flintlocks, not antique), but also Civil War era percussion revolvers and rifles, eg Uberti replicas.

Springfield Armory - M1A (any versions, but Standard or Loaded is within my pain range) and a 1911 Milspec Parkerized.

Where will you be?  Houston is a big place.

Tomball Pawn - in Tomball, but they won't have flintlocks.  I didn't notice any M1A's either.

Bass Pro shops. <––  good way to kill an evening, and spend tons of money.  They have all sorts of stuff.

I'm at MD Anderson...Collectors Firearms isn't too far away.  It's been a long time since I've been there.

Went by there today...same as I remembered it 10 years ago.  Lots of neat stuff to look at, most of it priced out of my range.  They had exactly one replica flintlock (used) which I bought since its one I've been looking for and the asking price was somewhat reasonable...and then they offered a discount unprompted.  I started to dicker on a percussion revolver or two, but figured I ought to shoot all the ones I already have before adding to the stable.   The M1A's were high-end and uninteresting.  Their price on the 1911 model I'm looking at was $100 more than what I can get it off the shelf for in Waco.  Now I have to figure out something to do tomorrow.
