Does anybody know of a good (& reasonable priced) gunsmith in the DFW area to cut down & thread an AR barrel?  Thanks in advance.

I believe microsuck is the man to talk to if you want it done locally. I've heard lots of good things.

FYI, there is a Texas crew recommended NFA/Gunsmith link at the top of the page. http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=514

I've only used Gene Williams for smith work, very good. But microsuck1's gonna help me out with a project on Monday, providing the BBT (big brown truck) shows on time. Everyone on that link I posted has been recommended by the Texas Crew, Mircosuck is the second one under DFW.

Good work, good price, and is an actual shooter which you can't say about some smiths

+1 for Gene Williams 214 673 5510. He is a heck of a 1911 'smith, too.
