i’m changing oil in the trucks today and it has given me some time to think about this.
early voting for the primary starts next week and like you, i’m getting inundated w/ voter mail and knocks on the door. thankfully, the knockers sport the “R” badge here in collin county and are friendly to talk to and are like minded. my question is do we have or need an arfcom voter guide? it has the potential to be powerful. i sense if we do, some hate or division amongst the tribe may come out. to me, some tidbits of info are enough to make a difference. it would be difficult to manage or organize, but i think the need is there as there are some posers in other races that have fled dallas county (that could possibly contaminate) to the conservative areas. i'm sure the same is happening elsewhere across the state. example: after doing some initial research, i found that mabrie jackson in state rep. dist. 66 is an nra & tsra member and her competitors do not state that. tsra guide had all republican candidates for the st. rep. dist. 66 w/ “A” in my precinct. no clear endorsement, but like i said, the tidbits are helpful and could possibly avoid future rino placements. i believe in these times, we have to squash the rino's at the lower levels. anyway, i’m just looking for more info if available. for those in the area, these sites that have been helpful: tsra http://www.tsrapac.com/ collin county observer http://www.baumbach.org/b2evolution/blogs/index.php http://www.friscodwilawyer.com/ let me hear your suggestions or web links that may fill the need. thanks, mikntx |
