Sorry you are having to deal with this. I'm going to present the other possibility. I've been through two divorces and disappointed the lawyers both times. There were no children or property to fight for so we just signed some papers and it was done. Haven't spoken with either of those ladies in decades. In both cases the legal stuff followed the breakup by at least a couple of years so things had some time to cool down.
Not saying such things are possible in your case but they are possible sometimes and make life a lot eaier. |
