Where can I buy either the foam lined rifle boxes or the unlined ones that will hold a doskocil single rifle case. I finally used my last one and I need more. I cant remember where I bought them before. I think it was in Mesquite.

Try a sporting good store that sells the cases (Academy, Cabelas, etc...) If you ask nicely, I'd imagine that you could get an empty box from them that would fit your case.

What he said. That was the exact same thing I was thinking. If you ask most of the time they will help you out.

Honestly, I get probablly 3-4 guns a week for transfers that show up in a Doskocill case, taped shut, with a UPS label on it.......

I would look at Wally or Academy for a case.  Then if you wanted to build a box around you can.

I already have 8 or 9 empty cases, I just need the cardboard box they came in. I may just zip tie and tape the case itself and send it that way if I cant get the cardboard outer box at Academy. Kind of afraid of doing that though.

What part of DFW are you in?

I'm in Plano and have a garage full of rifle boxes. I'm pretty sure one or two are former sleeves for a Dosko case.

I'm in Pleasant Grove. I'm gonna try Academy tomorrow hopefully that will work out.

Even if you don't find the perfect sized box, take anything they have. You can, with little trouble, break down/flatten several boxes and using a razor knife to score new corners, make a new box. Sure, it may not look pretty but all it really needs to do is cover the fact that you are shipping a rifle case.
