Sherman/Denison is a pretty decent area, though Texoma parkway has dried up since the last time I was there.  If you're a drinkin' man, hit up Break Time.  It's a fairly tame joint.  Used to be a biker bar.  Cheap drinks and good music most nights of the week.  A lot of my musician friends still play there often.  The old train depot in Denison is a good place to get a drink and/or a meal too.  The Rib bbq is the shit if if you're not vegan.  Check it out.  Hope some of this helps.

Cellarmans in Sherman is a pretty cool place they have a beer menu four pages long.

Nice indoor range in Sherman I think it is called Red River gun range.

Outdoor range in Tom Bean listed in the ranges section it is about 15 minutes away.

Lot of cool stuff to do around lake Texoma.

No adult entertainment in the area.

Some good restaurants on hwy. 75 in Sherman and Denison.

In case you are wondering if you were not from here you would think Sherman and Denison were the same thing.

More will be along soon with more info.

Try a Big Easy pizza at Cellermans. It's the local college hangout so sometimes the scenery is good. Loose Wheels is another night spot, usually an older crowd and serves prime rib on the weekends. Stampede is the local western club but it's mainly a much younger crowd and no food. Fat Daddy's for pool but can be a bit rough around the edges at times. Nice multi screen complex in Town Center right there on 75 along with the usual fast food and resturants. Dallas is an easy 50 minutes south.

+1 for Cellarman's.  Even if you don't drink, they had damn good food the last time I was there.

Cellarmans is good.  good beer, good atmosphere and great fish tacos.

there's a couple country nightclub/bars on texoma pkwy on the sherman denison border...  so there's that for nightlife, other than hangin at cellarmans.  i never go there but i have friends that do.  there's a casino about 20 min. north in OK as well, if that's your thing.

there's also some chain restaurants and a nice new movie theater at 82 and 75 in sherman, as well as a Gander Mountain at the SE corner and an Academy at the NE corner.  I've shot at Red River a lot, it's right off of 75 on Texoma Parkway behind the rock store...  it's a good indoor range with electronic target positioning and stuff as well.
