Need the name of a good gunsmith in the Fort Worth area. One who doesn't mind working on assault rifles. The one time recently I needed one this guy looked at my AR like I was some kind of terrorist who needed help carrying out a plot of some kind. In other words he felt working on an assault rifle was beneath him.

If you want to drive out to Mingus, then Mike Lau d.b.a. Texas Brigade Armory (co-located at Tactical Professionals Shooting Center) does good work.

Try Advanced GunWorks in Roanoke. I'm at work and can't hotlink it. No problem there and the work is excellent.

What are you looking to have done? There isnt much with an AR that you cant do yourself.

This.

Go to the DIY section, our very own Falarak has many great threads, with pics, on how to work on your own AR.

It's REALLY easy.

There are some good guys around also, but you might try looking at it first.

Ditto...great work on both my AR (match trigger install) and Browning Hi Power trigger (very few smiths can do one of these well!)
