I live in N. Central TX, Hillsboro Area.
I have really been interested in attending/participating in a 3 Gun Meet. I met a guy this weekend who has shot at Copperas Cove and he invited me out there with him. Are there any others that I might look into? What are the more important pieces of Equipment? (I know I need Rifle, Pistol & Shotty) Rounds of ammo needed to compete? Any help Please & Thanks |

A little closer than Copperas Cove would be TacPro or Tiger Valley.
Equipment? Safe holster and mag holders. Shotgun shell holder of some sort. Rifle sling not usually needed, but check with the match. Copperas Cove does not need a sling. Make sure your rifle ammo is safe to shoot at steel targets (i.e., not steel core). Rounds of ammo varies by match and how many stages; there is not a standard number. Maybe 100 rifle, 100 pistol, and 50 birdshot for a 1 day match. Maybe a few shotgun slugs or buckshot. Lee |
