| Here`s my problem. I travel a lot in and around small towns in rural areas. If I have a weapon (travelling) in my truck OR if I have say a pair of shotguns in a case in the back of the truck AND i go through a school zone am I violating the law? Many of these towns have NO way around them except to go through another town with another school zone. |

Your not violating any law in Texas. Texas peace officers dont enforce Federal law. With that said, theres no federal law I'm aware of either. |

Yes you are probably in violation of Federal Law, unless the case is locked and the gun unloaded. |
