| What do I have to do extra if I take the renewal class before the state sends me that card that I am required to have. I filled out all the info online and am just waiting for it. Do I just have to mail it in seperate or is it a big ordeal? Should I just take the class now or wait a week or two? |

How long until your current CHL expires? If you are less than 90 days get into a class ASAP or you might not get your renewal from the state in time. The Online info is the renewal app. You will still need prints, affidavits, and pass the written and range exams. |

Get your prints, photos and notarized affidavits done. DPS will send you a packet, not a card. In that packet will be a copy of the application you filled out online. You will need THAT application. Then use that app, along with the prints, photos and affidavits from the class. Fastest way I know. |
