After reading some good comments about the Multicam camouflage I decided to try some on an upcoming hunting trip.  I went by the Command Post in Pasadena and located several BDU type shirts.  A small one was marked $35.75 and a large size was marked $57.99, which was way too high.  I took both shirts to the counter and asked one of the two ladies there which price was correct.  I informed her that their website had it listed for $32.95 and the lady at the register looked it up and said that it was $35.75.  I had been to several places online and wasn't completely sure that it wasn't $35, either way that was a fair price that I was willing to pay.  (I checked again and it is in fact $32.95)

Appearently not satisfied, the lady at the register told the other one to go ask someone else.  She then returned and said the 3rd lady confirmed that the lower price was correct.  Appearantly still not satisfied, the register lady then called the owner who told her that the $57 price was correct, if I wanted it.  I told her that I didn't want it for that price and left without buying anything.

Maybe I'm making more of this than I should, but after taking my time, effort and fuel to drive to their business, based on info on their website, I was more than a little irritated.

Anytime I get exceptional service, good or bad, from a company I like to let others know.  I guess I won't be going back to Command Post.

Naw dude, that is rediculous. You go there to get service. If you wanted a deaf ear, you could just stay home and buy online, but you wanted to go to THEIR store and get THEIR service and hospitality. You got neither it sounds like. You did the right thing by walking out!

It is no wonder so many companies are/have been going out of business - everybody in business is selfish and greedy and they love sticking it to the customers and slacking off on their job as long. As long as they get that paycheck, who cares, right?  Well, John Q. Consumer does and I for one have had it up to here!  *holds fingers really high above head*

The Command Post workers at all of the stores dont make a move without talking to the owner. They must be scared of him because I have gotten the reply several times "Oh we have to call so and so or Oh no Mr.***** would be mad" Oh well I wont go in there anymore and I live 10 min from that store inparticular, I'll happily go to the Top Brass store on 45 and Patton before I go any where else. And the have the Multi cam BDU's and they True-Spec cut as well and they aren't $57.00.

Once upon a time the 45 North store was the place to go.  However since Cody decided that paintball was the focus of his business, I go elsewhere.  As previously stated, Top Brass is a great place to shop.

I took your advise and went to Top Brass today for the camo.  They had a much better selection, reasonable prices, and much better customer service than Command Post.  Glad I went.

I can't remember exactly what it was.  I bought a shirt for about $48 and a boonie hat that I think was around $14.  The total including tax was $68.18.  The shirt was a little expensive but it's the rip-stop fabric.  Both items are well made.  They also make a poly/cotton blend for less but Top Brass didn't have any.  If you look online you can find them for less but I needed it for a hunting trip in a couple of days.  I'll let you know how it works on the hunt.

command post@beltway and 59 double charged a purchase I made, then told me that rather than refund one of the transactions, I should just go dispute the transaction with my bank.

Sorry to here about that.  When I was in Houston, I played Paint ball with the owner of the one on 45N.  Command post is a family owned company, but the stores are owned individually buy each member if I recall correctly.  Texas state law requires the seller to honer the advertised price, and "bait and switch" laws are very strict.  I'd say give the one on 45N a shot.
