I just found out that someone had charged my credit card for a 500 dollar purchase online. It was done shortly after I visited the range American Shooting Centers in Houston, TX last weekend (Sunday).
Here's the kicker, their credit card machine was "down" so they took down the information with their receipt book. I believe that one of the employee's has stolen my information and purchased items from it. If you went to the range and paid this method, please check your account and verify you haven't been scammed as well. |

sorry to hear about it. What will ASC and your CC company do? Please keep us updated. It was with a Visa Debit card, but I have already had the money re-credit to my account. I am going to contact ASC tomorrow, but I probably will never go to that range again. |

...but I probably will never go to that range again. it's good you got your money back but i would not be so quick to write off ASC. i am not sure how you can go about getting "satisfaction" from them. maybe free membership for a year? maybe just an apology from the management? it sounds like you are going to give them a chance to make it right. Please consider that this is a "new" company that is trying to build a good reputation from the ashes of what was without a doubt the worst shooting range in the greater Houston area. i have a feeling based on my personal shooting experiences these last few months that the "new" ASC has one bad apple and they will do what it takes to you back as well as the shooting community in the Houston area. good luck, |

However this one time I used my debit card and it came back to bite me in the ass. Regardless, the website that one of the items was bought from is tracking the location of where the order originated, so I should find out something soon. |

| There was a crawfish place here in Dallas on Greenville Ave, that was doing that shit... It happened to a customer of mine twice in 2 months... The second time, is when he figured out who was doing it. It turned out that the employees has done it to several people... Needless to say, he doesnt eat there any more. |

I called them a few years ago.... the idiot that answered the phone had no idea what a Mauser98K was.... asked if that was an American company. I waited around for a few minutes, talked to a few more know-nothing employees and finally just told them to forget about it. How can you sell guns and not have a clue what a Mauser is? |
