...you have to wait in line to get into the Conroe Gunshow. I got there about 10 minutes before 9, the line wasn't too bad. Less than 10 minutes long. I went straight to Jen's table, Texas Tactical. The line formed immediately for lowers. I bought a complete RRA lower for $327 OTD and six PMAGs. Thanks Jen for not gouging on the PMAGs. She had a metric ass ton of stripped lowers, but I bet she sells out before the end of the day. AJC had Bushmaster rifles in the high $1200 and Colt 6920s were $1700. For shame. Handgun prices seemed to be about the same as before the election. I'm glad I've been slowly hoarding since '04. I wish I had more, but I bought as much as I could and still remain happily married. Anyway, thanks again Jen at Texas Tactical for not gouging.

| I think her cheapest stripped lowers were Double Star for $139. I believe this is correct. Judging by the lines when I left 30 minutes after the show opened, if you don't have yours now you may be SOL. Texas Tactical was extremely busy as were the other vendors at the show who had EBRs. | Glad the gun show in San Antonio was the weekend before the election! It was pretty packed then, can't imagine what next month's will be. Surprised to hear that about AJC. I know they had the Colt 6920's for about $1300 last weekend in SA and I think that was the price for them a month ago when they were here as well. |
