Where in Dallas area can you find an ACE stock for a Bushmaster ar15?

Thanks

I'm not in Dallas, but are you looking for a particular ACE stock, or just some place that stocks them, in general?

I'm thinking of a big bore upper and I don't think a collapsible stock will hold up. A skeleton stock looks much stronger. What do you recommend?

Oh, I would never recommend one to you (as I don't have the requisite experience with one to do so), but an ACE ARP is one of my very next purchases, with either an ARFX-E or M4 SOCOM down the road a bit.

I just figured I'd ask the question before someone else did, with an eye toward reducing the question-to-answer time, in case the next person through here has some experience and can actually help.

Though for whatever it may or may not be worth, the [adjustable] M4 SOCOM stock is advertised as being "approximately 6 times stronger than an AR15 A2 stock & receiver extension tube."

I have the AFRX on my 308, works great.  Midway has them on sale often.  like $60 I think.

Don't believe everything that you read.  My SOCOM is now in the spare parts bin; without having axial preload on the threads, they don't stay tight to the lower receiver.  Not sure if the vertical and horizontal wobble would cause inherent unreliability, but it was annoying as hell.

Like I said...... "or may not be worth....." (emphasis not in original)

Is that a modular stock or what?

Yep.

He usually starts a thread here when there is a gun show coming up. People announce what they want and he makes sure to have it in stock at the show.

FWIW I have an Ace ARFX on a Beowulf and it's just fine. J&T (a sponsor here) just acquired Ace if I'm not mistaken.

You can get it here. I have both the SOCOM and the skeleton. We will be at the Ft.Worth show this coming weekend or you can call and I'll mail it to you.

I have the ace fx on my 308 dpms LR and Bushy.

Delta Force Mark has the best prices when I bought mine.

They are very nice to use, I like the 1" pad which is extra because it sits nice and firm
against your shoulder.
