| Is it too early to start thinking about the Guadalupe River, Gruene Hall, Robert Earl Keene, Pat Green, Shiner Beer, CRAWFISH, Kelly Willis , and other truly Texas things.... |
|
he's right it is never too early. being i live in seguin i will definitely be partaking of the ritual texan behaviors this summer. "i like to spend my days, floatin' down the guadalupe river, drink a cold case of lone star beer, while my body shivers!" great song! |
To each his own, but Tell us the part about not being able to trust a fart for a week afterwards because of the Lone star. |
| I've already made camp site reservations for our annual June Guadalupe River trip! I'd recommend Mountain Breeze for tent camping. Awesome place with decent showers, bathrooms, bar and grill! |
Texas Tubes on the Comal was renting tubes today. The bridge over the Guadalupe is under contruction right now so you can't get in the river in Gruene for now. I think they're going to open it up next month. You may have better luck floating up closer to Canyon Lake if you want to float the Guadalupe. |
They say it will be completed some time in May. I was going home last night and forgot it was closed and had to go all the way around to get to the Deck. |
My dad used to call The Deck home too
