| Hey guys. My name's Danny, I just moved to houston in October for school. I've been shooting out at Hot Wells about once a week. Any of you guys ever go out there? I shot an AR for the first time out there about a month ago and just bought a stripped lower last week. I'm not exactly made of money so I'm just gonna buy it piece by piece. Looking forward to getting to know you guys and maybe putting some lead down range in the future. |

Welcome - nice to see you on the board. Do you live on the NW side of town? Just asking since you shoot at Hot Wells. If so make it out to the Far NW side meetings and to the Tuesday night get together if you can. There are some really nice folks on here and the Houston crew is a great group of people. I missed the first Far NW meeting, but I plan to make the one in February. And maybe even show up at the build party on Feb 2nd, just to get to know more of the crew. I'm right off of I-10 and 610 on the west side of town, right by the IKEA. I just make the drive out to hot wells cause I usually bring friends and we all shoot the same rifle. It makes Hot Wells alot cheaper than American Shooting Center. I'll probably be out there tomorrow at 2 oclock. I go to school from 8-1 and then work from 6-9. Edited: Confused east and west |
