I know this question has been asked alot. I have my gun all packaged up and ready to ship to an out of state buyer. I have the FFL in hand and wonder about the shipping process. Do I need to tell UPS that it is a firearm or just tell them it is a package and ship it. I am worried that if I tell them it will get stolen. Let me know guys thanks |
| I would advise against telling a lie when they ask whats in the box despite what some will tell you. If you lie and they lose it or it gets stolen, they will most likely deny your insurance claim. They don't mark the box firearm in any way when you do tell them anyway. |

I can't remember where in TX you are, is it Dallas? I shipped a rifle Friday at the Dallas UPS location (near Merrill & Monroe - just off Walnut Hill). Each time I have shipped there, they knew exactly what they were doing and gave me no hassles. This time was like that also. $13 to ship out of state. |
