I took my class on Oct 6, mailed the packet the following Monday (Oct 8) then got the picture sheet back from the DPS because I didn't sign on the big bare line (that DID NOT SAY 'sign here'). Signed it and sent it back within the week, and today found my CHL in the mail. So, with the delay, it took 10 weeks. Knock a couple off if you get everything right the first time.
