| Does anyone know what the baddest ass 45 silencer on the market is right now? I have only heard the SWR on a 1911 and it sounded good. Has anyone heard the cobra from yhm? Or what about the Black Box from AAC. It shure looks cool and they say its the quietst in the world. What do yall think? |
Just my opinion, but the AAC gets extra points for being able to use your stock sights!  But loses those points for being super expensive.  I've only heard a few .45 cal cans, most have been SWR. The ones I've heard did not get really quiet until they had an albative (sp?), (wiregel or water). |

Most of well-known can manufacturers make bad-ass .45 can and most are comparable in db, durability, i.e... Gemtech, AAC, SWR. SRT, etc.... But prices vary (of course), so is customer service. Customer service of several companies are really good, SWR, Gemtech, SRT, as some examples. One is very spotty...AAC comes to mind. BTW...I have HEMS 1 and enjoy using it. |
