Once you do the online renew you will receive a packet in the mail. Seems I got mine in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks afterwards. After submitting the completed packet you should have your renewal lic back in 30-45 days, took a little over a month on mine .

They will send you a complete packet with the items you need for renewal.  They don't seem to be in as much a hurry as you are though....be patient.  When I did my renewal, I mailed the packet in with delivery confirmation(less than half the price of return receipt) and received my new license in about 2 weeks.

If you want a pretty good class that is cheap call this guy. He is down in Texas City and uses the Texas City range. Costs 75$ for renewal and he provides it all. His name is Tom Estep @ 409-945-6636. He gives the class every Sat. and sometimes on Sundays.

Registered and paid online. I got my packet in about 2 weeks. Took the course May 19 and mailed it in May 23. My new license showed up on July 11. Pasadena has the renewals for $50. Full service, prints, pictures, range, class, notary all on the same day. I like to walk in and walk out and be done with it. Davids a good guy to deal with as well. If you're going to take it on the Southeast side of town. I'd consider them. I did hear the classroom air conditioner is broken right now though.

Thanx Bearwolf- but Texas City is a lil far for me.

lilricky2- I'm on the Southwest but for 50.00 I could go to Pasadena I was going to Top Gun for 85.00 but you have to pay in advance and use certain brands of ammo. I don't know if I can go on the days they have the class. I originally got my license at the 59 Gun Range so I'll check with them this week.
