[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Gun Show

It has been years since I last went to a gun show. My brother-in-law and I want to go to one in the near future. We will either go to Houston or San Antonio. We shoot AK's, so I would like to know what gun show would be best for finding AK accessories, ammo, etc. Thanks in advance.

Go to the one at the George R. Brown Convention Center this weekend. It is the one I like the best.

You will see some AK parts, but AR parts and rifles are more plentiful. Hope to see you there!

The biggest shows are the Houston Gun Collectors Association shows. The next one is Oct. 27 & 28 at Reliant Park.

The show coming up this weekend at GBC, how are the prices there? Realistic compared to ordering stuff online, or are they inflated like some shows? Im sure you will have some people that are over-priced, but does it average out like that?

The Austin and San Antonio shows tend to be small, and have a somewhat high percentage of non-gun stuff. There are some dealers of AR and AK parts, magazines,etc. Lots of ammo dealers, maybe 2 who do much bulk business. A Class 3 dealer or two.

If the weather is bad this weekend and I cannot get to a match, it might be worth a trip to Houston.
