9mm with 147 subsonics should be quieter than a .40. that being said, im not sure if you need to buy two cans. you can consider buying a .40 can and threading both your 9mm and .40 pistol barrels the same so you can put the .40 on the 9mm. it will suppress the 9mm as well but not as optimally. but get more bang for your buck. one silencer for two pistols! i am a C3 dealer in Austin, if you need any advice on C3 stuff you can email me at [email protected] i can probably find a local dealer out there who can help you if need be. |

Im working in Las Vegas right now and will be for the next couple months but If I get a chance to sneak home I might go ahead and try to get everything in order that way when I get back it should be there waiting for me. I dont mind buying a silencer for both calibers. The main thing for me is I want it to be as quiet as possible. I dont care if one weighs 2 ounces more than the next or is an inch longer maximum suppression is all im after. I kind of like the SWR trident and SWR shadow. Anybody have any expierence with either of these? How do they compare to gemtechs offerings? Is there any pistols that suppress better than others? Also what common rifle calibers suppress well? How loud do you think a ar-10 with 16 inch barrel and a SWR omega 30 would sound? (with subsonics of course). I know there is alot of questions so any and all help is appreciated. |
