you have posted them in the EE, right?

FYI - If you post for sale stuff in any forum other than EE, including the TX hometown forum it'll be locked.

Maybe they won't mind if you list what items you're thinking of selling.

Because of the problems inherent in selling guns in a public forum--people just wasting my time, the danger of being targeted for a robbery or burglary, and even to some extent the hassle of dealing with members of the shooting groups I am involved with--I have chosen to limit my selling to gun shows. I find that people attending the shows, not the dealers, are willing to pay fair prices. If you have good equipment, that's your best bet. But that's just my opinion.

I've sold many guns on Gunbroker and had good success.

Its not really big.  Sold one gun there and worked out OK.  Remember, cash only and check age if the kid looks "too young".

Thanks for all of the replies...I think that I have some good direction.  Any advice on EE?  I'm tempted to post but am somewhat uncomfortable about selling over the internet...

I have always had 100% satifaction both buying & selling on the AR-15.COM Equipement Exchange!

On the E.E. the Seller sets the conditions.  Local sale, Nationwide, State Wide etc...

You can specifiy if you want a local Face to Face, or you can ship a longgun in state (Texas) direct to another individual without going through a F.F.F. dealer.

If you ship out of state to someone other than a Texan, then you need to send it to the Purchasers F.F.L. and you should ask of a copy of the Dealers F.F.L. prior to shipping (gives a record of to whom you sent it just in case)

Rule #1 - Buyer ALWAYS Pays for the Purchase First in Certified Funds (U.S.P.S. Money Order  is best because of the protection it provides to you if the other party ever even thought to monkey around!)

Drop me an e-mail as I'm close by and always looking for new and fun gun stuff!

Oh, I get it...you're "not that type of guy".

In your first post of this thread you talk about selling via forums so let's get busy. Like suggested above, list what you're THINKING about selling.

C'mon, we'll make a REAL man outa ya

 What Big_Hammer said.

As far as one is serious "thinking" selling firearm and doesn't know the process of doing or the cost of the firearm, I'm always cool with it...
But remember, if too many 'I'm thinking about selling......how much I can get....?' threads, GB and Staff might not allow them in the future, and I'm sure none of us wants that.

no advertising for sale items in these forums.  Use the equipment exchange and specify a local sale only.   ----FALARAK

No biggee.  I try not to be too heavy handed.... just have to be as equitable as possible.....  no ads means no ads.... a link to a EE post is an ad.
