Headed out to our property in West Texas (near Sanderson) for a bit of Spring Break camping with my son and a couple of his friends. Gonna try the 2 new Yugo AK47's we just built and the Romy we built last year. Got 1000 rounds of ammo. Can't frikin wait.... |

Well, got back from West Texas. Other then the Terrell County Sheriff coming out because someone said we were hunting, and a freak hail storm, it was great. We had 2 Yugo AK47's, a Romy AK47, 2 Mosin Nagants, a German Mauser, 3 .22 rifles, a Cetme, a .308 sniper rifle, a WWII M1 Carbine, 2 20 gauge shotguns, a 12 gauge shotgun, a Springfiled .30-06, 2 .22 pistols and a Nagant revolver. All this between 3 18 year old boys and 2 47 year old men. We went thru several thousand rounds of ammo. Shot a couple of rabbits, a couple of squirells and a couple of fruit bats. My ears are still ringing... Nothing like Jack Daniels and Coke around a camp fire after a day of hiking and shooting..... |
