I did the same thing to a buddy of mine in Gladewater. We had a live fantasy football draft at my house. The week before he had a draft for another league. He wanted to show us something on the other league so he signed on his league on my laptop. He left it logged on when he left. Instead of the obvious, I got on his account and first posted that "he had something important he wanted to admit". A little while later, I posted, "nevermind, I'm not ready". Then I posted, "screw it, I cant hide any longer and you guys are my friends". I then said, "I am having some lifestyle issues and I just need to admit it". I went on and on and finally made it clear the guy was leaving his wife and coming out of the closet. Some of the other guys in the league were calling my buddies neighbors and asking them if his truck had been at home. It was a HUGE hit! Turns out, he didn't even really know the guys in the other league and so they didn't know him well enough to know he wasn't gay. It was hilarious! Well, it was funny until my 6yr overheard a phone conversation where I said something about "having a secret about coming out of the closet" and she said she was going to tell her mother about my secret about "coming out of the closet". I gently explained to her that it was a joke on another guy! |

Your google fu is weak "Often called FISTERS, or members of a FIST (Fire Support Team), nicknamed "The Eyes of Death". Artillery is an important, integrated asset on the battlefield and is known as the "King of Battle" (see Napoleon). Since FO's are the eyes of the Artillery, they are a valued asset. Their missions are arguably critical as mental errors under stress can bring the massive firepower and ordinance they control down on friendly forces as well as enemy. FIST team members are, like any front line soldiers, self-reliant and independent. Their mission requires quick thinking under pressure, effectively integrating with many types of units and command structures as well as the ability to operate independently." "Forward Observers, due to their intelligence, adaptability, and broad range of combat skills are often capable candidates for many special operations units and training. FIST and COLT teams will often take on mission profiles normally shunned by most regular units. Occasionally, FOs will be trained for additional mission profile expansions, such as training for long-range reconnaissance, specific climate/locale (i.e. jungle, arctic, mountain, or urban environments), and training in other specializations, such as Ranger, Airborne, Pathfinder, and Air Assault are rather common among FOs. FOs are often very highly sought-after by high-profile combat units like the US Army's 82nd Airborne, 101st Infantry (Air Assault), 10th Mountain Division, 2nd Infantry (STRYKER), and the 75th Ranger Regiment to name just a few. They are also prevalent in the elite USMC combat units. Whether operating in US Army or Marine infantry units or even SOCOM (Special Operations) these highly trained specialized personnel are a definitely valued asset" |
