here's mine:

Walked the ticket line from front to rear checkin' out what others were holdin', one dude had a preban hidden in a bag, I asked what it was and what $ he wanted for it, said he was gonna wait until he got in the show to "see what it's worth'

Instead of waitin' in the mile-long line, wound up payin' the $25 to join the NRA and got in the show for free, took all of 4 minutes flat and I was in the door.

Tried to talk myself into about 2 dozen Rugers, came soooo close to pickin' up a used but super condition Taurus .45 for 280 but passed. (350 new a few tables away)

RPG was still settin' up so I figured to visit with 'em later.

Saw a flawless Tantal kit for 280 (it was at Pasadena, real nice fella, he also has numerous GT receivers for sale).

Loaded up on jerky for my GF...well, I did get a bag of jalapeno/cheese jerky for ME

Ran across two separate groups of Cajuns that made it over for the show, they were scroungin' for AK stuff.

Saw some 200rd battle packs of Portugese 762x51 for $90 ea in two places (BigDog and somewhere else).

Bought some candy bars that benefited a youth karate event.

Laughed my a$$ off at the > $180.00 < Romanian kits that a vendor had who was set up across from my favorite AK vendor aka Benny (Benny had 'em for $100  )

Shook the hands of some Veterans towards the rear left of the show. They were setting up some sort've info display.

Bought an M44, 1946 model, a C&R collector had it, even the magazine hatch was matching (instead of forced).

Wound up across town off of 1960 where a guy had some virgin M92 Krink kits, bought one so there went my allowance

Picked up a nice S&W 27-2 6 inch for $380.  Also picked up some Portugese 7.62x51.  Opened the ammo can and took a look at it when I got home.  Had to throw away a few rounds due to corrosion from moisture.

The worst thing I saw was a guy sell his SS Colt 38 super to a vendor of $345. I tried to offer more but he wanted to sell to a vendor. 10 minutes later it was out on the table for $795.

picked up (4) Universal 20s in an original USGI pouch for $60.  The mags are brand new.  Not a steal but not bad price.

1k wolf from a small dealer for $125 + tax

Bought  a Type 99 Arisaka off an guy walking around.  Didn't really see any smoking deal, except for my buddy that bought a 540 round sealed tin of 7.62 Nato Radway Green for $90.  He saw it a split second before I did.

Bought some BAR mags from Northridge for my OOW 1918A2 for $20 ea. 4 were still in the grease wrap. Nice dark color on all. Almost dropped some cash on a Sig 230 but changed my mind.

I passed up a screaming deal on a Springfield SAR8, probably could have got it for a grand.  Oh well, one day I may see it again.

I walked around Northridges table a couple of times and had an armload of grease covered mags and miscellaneous stuff.  I could not get them to take my money, I even tried holding it out in the air like I was trying to stuff money down a strippers g-string to no avail.

Sigh.

I watched a deal on a $1700 FMP, seller took 1600 cash money for it. Made me wish I had been carryin' my Interport around, might do that next time

Wow...I just ended up luggin a 500 rd box of ammo for my Glock. Didn't really need anything for my AR that I couldn't get at a store which would be about the same price My mission was to find gun case made by Vanguard. I didn't though which is good considering my AR was still at the 'smith. But I get it this weekend!!! I just hope the rain stops so i can go plinking...I noticed ammo is a bit pricey....I guess I should've brought more money to get the 500rd of Wolf that I say...oh well next show I guess....

On another note...is it me or was the ammo not at cheap as it used to be?

Yep, SA battlepacks went from $27-28 to $55 in a year. Seen 'em for 55 at the show, same seller has 'em on the auction for 70

Wow!! Man I wish I had my AR sooner...I'm new to the AR scene...now i'm thinking it may be a bad time to start....I can't shoot any less than 100 rds per trip to the range.

Oh well...Has anyone tried T's reloads for the .223? I use his 9mm and they've been good. Just wanted to know if folks here have had good experiences with it. This could be a cheaper(for lack of a better term) alternative.

i bought 5,000 rounds of his .223 55 fmj and 500 founds of the 55 ballistic tip, shoots great and both almost hit the exact same spot on a 100 yard target with a RRA 16" barrel.

i also buy all my reloading supplies pretty much from T's and have bought thousands or rounds of 9mm fmj and 45 acp fmj from them.  nicest people you will ever meet too.

His reloads used to be $14.00 per hundred for years and I have shot lots/tons of it.
I don't think he sells reloads at the show anymore and have not been to his shop in a couple of years.  All his 223 is labeled as new at the shows and the price reflects it.
Still like his products.
I once asked him about doing a transfer for me and he was a bit on the steep side.
Still a good dude to buy ammo from.
