[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need a flight instructor

Is anyone near DWH a CFII? I'm needing to finish my inst. rating and work on my comm. I have the plane (IFR cert. C150) so it's not in my best interest to go back to a school. Figured I'd see if anyone around here needs any instruction time first.

I think a guy at work is an instructor, he flies out of McKinney.
I can ask if you like.

ETA: what is DWH ?

DWH = Hooks airport, north side of Houston. I'm guessing McKinney is a bit out of range

Hell, I would love too if I was closer. That, and Im 6'4" 265 pounds, and I cant ever sit in a C150

Same dimensions as me and I fit fine. However, I do have to chose between someone in the right seat and full tanks

On my private ride I had to let the examiner know that we would be back on the ground in no more than one hour or he had to get out and push.
