Has anyone shot one?  It seems like it would kick pretty hard since you couldn't get much of your hand on it.  How much smaller is it than my G-19?

I own one, recoil is snappy. pearce grips are necessary to get a decent handle on them.
I didn't even shoot mine till they arrived.

size is similar to a G19 physically but I found that i shoot the 19 much better.

if you buy one don't get the meprolight night sights they suck.

I must admit I'm getting ready to sell all my big-frame Glocks, G29 included, but that's only to simplify my collection.

It's not the length of the grip, just the pure width and reach difference between the small Glocks and the big frame ones.  With the mag bases where you get the pinky on the grip, there is no problem at all with recoil I found.  Similar to hot .40s out of a smaller pistol, but alot more impact on the target.  I carried one for years with no problems.  Buy some Doubletap ammo and have fun!

So the ten shot Glock 29 subcompact is actually a slightly wider version of the twelve shot Glock 26 subcompact, right?  I mean it is still considered a "sub" and not a midsize??

Ok, ok - you win.  No need to make a thread about it!!!!

I'll have your box of 9mm for you next time we go to the range.

I have one and carry it almost everyday.

It shoots just fine.

I wouldn/t trade it.
