No...not SHTF.... This getaway is a ROMANTIC getaway with the wife. Any recomendations for a good cabin on the lake-type places within three or so hours from DFW?!?!? Sorry to post such a "touchy-feely" question on a MANS forum...but hey.....if mama's happy...........................

Longhorn, S.E. Oklahoma is a nice place. Look up Bevers Bend/Bevers Bend Oklahoma state parks. They have state cabins with air,fireplace, and restroom. There is also public owned cabins all over the place(even Hochatown) which is close to Bever's Bend. You didn't state a place, being from Oklahoma, I used to go to S.E. Oklahoma but moved on to New Mexico and S.W. Colorado cabins and hunting. Dave |
