[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Reprofiling an AR barrel

Anyone in central Texas that does it? I'm wondering how much it will cost me to turn down a midlength to govt. profile under the handguards.

they are great people though not located in tx, they are great to deal with and do great work

Yeah, but adco charges $50 to dissassemble the upper, and I live in an apartment and don't have the tools or a vice to do it myself.

Terry Davis @ Tejas Gunwerks in Austin turned my 20" Armalite bull barrel down to milspec A2 profile, removed the muzzlebrake, refininshed, rethreaded, and installed the flash suppressor I provided for a little less then $100. He did a mighty fine job too!
