[ARCHIVED THREAD] - need a part

A guy I know needs a part for his AR and was wondering if anyone sells it locally:

Need to know if there is any place locally that sells AR parts. I need a front pivot 2 headed screw (in the small hole version).

I was also wondering if the A1 stocks require that little metal plate that the collapsible stocks come with?

How local are you? Texas is a big State. Model 1 Sales is now in Whiteright ( NE of Dallas) DSG is in Fort Worth. I think thaere is a another forum member/vendor in San Antonio and Steve/Terry from Austin ( although right now they're in Mesquite )

Sorry I keep forgeting there is more to Texas than the DFW area.

I would say your best bet is DSG in Ft Worth. They're listed in the Industry section of the forums , Hope this helps.

The A1 stock does not use the buttcap spacer that goes on the end of the receiver extention for use with the A2 stock.

I have a small hole 2 headed screw pivot pin, let me know where to send it.
