He was at a full sprint when that shot was made. That's actually the exit. The entrance is on the other side right behind the shoulder.

It's amazing the damage that a .22 caliber bullet going 4000fps can do, ain't it?

How irresponsible.  Everyone knows that 22's are only suitable for tree rats and gophers.

Nice. So does anyone know whether a .223 Rem JHP makes a similiar exit wound with a 16in barrel /w a 1:9 twist ? My guess is that it would NOT cause an exit wound but a big temporary cavity and lots of fragmentation internally due to the shorter barrel (lower velocity) compared to the longer barrel  and more powerful  220 bullet as above. Never shot any hogs or game with my .223  but i'd like to hear yall's feedback (16in barrel range@ .223) and see any pics if available to know what to expect if i take it out one of these days maybe for hog hunting.

Should let EdSr cleaning them.  He has had experience of dressing/cleaning pig at TRG's place last time.

 Good shot, Michael.

I do believe that my yankee brother has that same rifle minus the bipod.
