| After months of rumors, it was made official 2 days ago that BPS is building in San Antonio. The store will be about 10min from my door. Whenever we go to Houston, I always stop off at the one in Katy. I usually don't buy much there, but it's cool to look around. Not as good as Cabela's, though. |
But they have the once a year Q3131A sale.... you can get this great ammo for ~$144 out the door! |
More like Rockwall was never in the running. Bass Pro had announced the new store in Garland and the referendum for the tax breaks and capital improvements passed, about 2 months later Rockwall started to lobby for the store. mm |

So - They are putting one in GARLAND ??? Even closer......... But I worry about the clientel in the Garland/Mesquite/BelchSprings area...... Kind of getting a lot of how do you say - - - URBAN SPRAWL..... Don't know how interested Bass Pro Shops will be to the clientel - unless they are hoping on all of the people coming in fromn EAST TX. |
