Haven't seen any talk about this show. Has anyone been to this gunshow before. It's at the Lone Star Convention Center. Anyone going to this one. I was told the Conroe show has more regular people just selling and trading there. Anyone know for sure? Do they sell ammo?

The Conroe show is very similar to Pasadena and they do sell ammo.  Its a little more friendly than Reliant and parking is FREE.

Is it mostly gun store owners or average people selling and trading? Seems like all the shows nowadays are stores getting together. Hell if I wanted to by from a gun store I would  go to one.

We have been there and all it is is the Pasadena show in Conroe. Lots of store owners and not many deals. The fat girl that works the door is a thief <u can email for details>. There are a few individuals that are great to deal with, but they mostly sell their own wares or ammo. We will not go again.

Since SAXET seems to not do shows in Houston anymore,  I like to take a drive up there to
check it out if I have the time.  Not really geographically convenient for me.
It seems to have a few vendors that I don't see at all of Houston shows.
It does seem to have most of the Pasadena guys there though.

You know....it's funny how everybody has such different preferences for their shows.

I ALWAYS want to see new dealers and their NIB stuff being sold. You can get a whole variety of touchy-feely that you normally can't find under just  one gun shop roof. And you still get some bucks knocked off too.

But seeing them good old boys at Pasadena trying to sell that same old used $650 Detonics, or Commemorative Colt 45 pistol in that presentation box for $1,100 is a turn off to me. Heck I can go to a museum if I want to see "priceless" stuff.

I have never seen so much crap packed into such a small area.  I got there Saturday around 9:30 and I was gone by 10:30.  I saw some stuff that I was interested in but, there were way too many people blocking the aisles to get back around for a second look.  I bought a little ammo since I was running low and hauled ass.  I almost got the feeling that people were deliberately blocking the aisle and would not even attempt to allow you to pass.

I saw a Springfield SAR8 (made in Greece) that I was very interested in but then I could not part the
ocean of people to get back around and talk with the man.
