I have finally gotten and filled out my paperwork. Now I need to find a class. Does any of the Central Texas Crew have a suggestion? Thanks 96Ag |
| I'd go for an all in one place... I'm probably going to (when I get the fvck around to it) go to Red's, probably the north location. They'll do your pics and prints and notarizing right there all in one day. I think it's $150 for the class, but they give you a $25 discount if you and a buddy go. |

That's kind of my problem, I got my prints and pics taken, all I need is to have my form notarized. I have a friend that is a notary so that is not an issue. So I was hoping to find a bare bones kind of class, but if no other is available I guess I can go the full service route and learn to research before I jump into something. 96Ag |

Did the original class with Karl Rehn at www.krtraining.com/ Did the renewal with Dee Day at epsr.home.texas.net/ Both were excellent classes, that I recommend. Choose whatever is close to you. DanM |
| I took mine with CHL-Texas; and I thought they did a great job!! |
| Eagle Peak - I have taken all 3 of my classes there (1st time and 2 renewals) Very intimate and relaxed. Reasonable price and the instructors name is Dee Day (really) She is very active at the state capital and frequently speaks to the house on our behalf. Worth your money. Phone # 267-1400 |

Dee is a very friendly woman... I go out to Eagle Peak a lot. It's great if you're gonna do some load development and shoot from the bench... just no FMJ rifle ammo out there. I do think I will go for a one-stop-shop type deal when I get off my lazy a$$ and do it. Probably Red's up in P-ville. |
