I planned on doing range maintenance this weekend, but my tractor decided that it would blow an alternator. If any of you would like to come down and do a little organize shooting, let me know. Several guy’s from “Gunstock” are coming down to do a site survey of the range for Gunstock, so bring your guns and come on down. This will give you guy’s a chance to scope out the range before Gunstock. The entry fee will be 35 bucks. I still have the “Mother of all” stage set up from last week’s three gun match. We will go over and practice the following drills: Shooting Positions, Warm up / Function check drills, Trigger control / Sight alignment / Recoil management drills, Multiple Target Engagement Drills, 360 / 180 degree drills (turning while shooting), Speed / Tactical reload drills, Target acquisition, identification, discrimination and engagement drills, Moving while shooting drills, Oblique / Lateral Drills, Barrier Drills (shooting while using cover), Transition drills / Transition while moving (transition from primary weapon to secondary weapon) Malfunction drills (how to properly clear your weapon when it malfunctions) Incapacity drills (shooting while wounded) If any of you would like to attend, call me at (972) 880-7371 Thanks, John |
