| I have been a Kansas resident all of my life. I got my start in the printing field which turned into a maintenance mechanic job. Most of my work has been only temporary I am a single father and I'm doing all I can to keep my son in my custody and to top it all off I suffer from severe anxiety and I can't get any help around here for treatment. What I'm looking for here guys is help on a job!! Someone who won't judge me for what I am but someone who will see me as a amazing mechanic which is what I am I can work on damn near anything machines come so very easy to me. If anyone can give me any leads they will be very appreciated and I will repay you any way I can for the help. I was taught to never ask for help but I'm at my wits end when it comes to supporting my family he is my life. Thank you all in advance. |

I drink and like guns (outside of ARFCOM, they may not like guns or alcohol and turn you off) sometimes I masturbate more than once a day, OCD? who wants me to touch their stuff? I have anxiety too, I cry when I see an abused puppy video with sarah Mclachlan singing in the background, which I'm told is depression, I don't like to step on cracks on a sidewalk, I'm told that's OCD. I'm a germaphobe, since my son was born, again OCD. I'm embellishing, especially on the masturbation part... Lol ;) Can I work for you? See my point? Buck up buttercup, you're not the only one with problems, don't puke all over people when you're asking for work. Say "hey, I'm a single dad trying to make ends meet, anyone have work for a mechanically inclined individual in the _____ area"? Sorry to sound harsh but its reality, deal with it. You're not the only one with problems... Keep it to yourself outside of asking for help for that and not in your job resume asking for work. Make sense? ST :) |
| Sorry I'm in Wyandotte county around the 635 & Shawnee Dr area. And yes I have bucked up with my problem I've hid it from everyone most of my life sorry if I ranted last night. As for my skills I've done mechanical maintenance on printing presses, screen presses, compressors, generators, pretty much if it has gears and a motor I can fix it. IM NOT ASKING FOR A HANDOUT!!! I want to work for a living. And sorry ST its been a long week. |
Thanks for the suggestions guys ! Unfortunately kevv I don't have any diesel mechanic skills I just haven't had the chance to learn them. But on the brighter side I lucked out and I'm going in for my second interview for Deffenbaugh next week as a maintenance mechanic next week for their recycling plant just across the river from me wish me luck. I'm praying hard for this one. It will be the most money I've ever made in my career. And this one will never close everyone needs their trash hauled off. but until I hear the words your hired I'll still be looking.

Well I went through my second interview and they called me in the next morning and offered me one of the positions. I guess they still have one left on the midday shift im on days . But I am grateful and happier than I've been in a long time! I start next week and now im digging around to get all my tools ill need to do the job, at least im not short on those. Thank you for all the help guys. Im going back to getting tools rounded up have a good night.

Why is a 15 year old diversion still showing up on your record? It might show up as an arrest but the charges should show dismissed. This would be a good time to get down to the courthouse you got the diversion and file for an expungement. That SHOULD kill it once and for all. |

Well guys sorry I haven't updated this for awhile but I've been busy working at my new job. I was picked up by dillards distribution center about four weeks ago and I've been kept real busy there. Thanks for the support you all have gave me! I'm loving it there they have been very good to me and it looks like I've found my place thanks again guys.
