The wife and I are finally making the move to Kauai. I grew up there, and we've been planning this out for years. We packed up all of my machine guns, SBRs, DDs, SBSs, and suppressors, and have them in a family member's vault now here in Texas. We rented out our house to friends. We are READY, and she flys out this week to start her new job, then I will be following behind shortly.
I enjoy my firearms hobby, and I'm sad I can't bring any of my full autos and normal suppressors there. I'll have fun with them when I come back to visit Texas, but it's still lame. I'd like to own and enjoy at least a couple guns while we live in Kauai though. I'll bring a semi auto AK, a shotgun, and a pistol or two. Just to enjoy every now and then.
I am spoiled with the gun laws here in Texas, and would like to at least own something "different" in Kauai, and was wondering if I could bring one of my flamethrowers there? They aren't even considered firearms, but I wasn't sure if there is a law directly banning them in Hawaii.
Also, I'm interested in buying the new Silencerco Maxim 50. It's a muzzle loading suppressed musket essentially. Federally it's legal, but I know in some states, like California, the laws screw over what the manufacturer was trying, but how are the laws in the state of Hawaii? I actually enjoy muzzle loading firearms too, and shooting suppressed is just plain fun and different. What are your thoughts on the laws there towards this?

I appreciate the help!
