HPD is now requiring that applicants who have Kaiser/Straub as their primary care provider to get a doctor's letter stating that they are competent to own a gun.  Kaiser and Straub have policies where doctors do not provide these letters.  Now with this requirement, everybody with them as PHP will not qualify.

Is there no organization in HI that litigates these issues?



I just moved here, but back in GA we had very strong state-based organizations of several thousand dues paying members that would sue the ever loving shit out of cities or counties that tried to pull illegal stuff like this.

I just put no local on that form as per hpd instructions.  No issues at all
