| Somebody give me info about the women's group- The Well Armed Woman. There are only 4 chapters so far, Sumter, Kershaw, Charleston, Rock Hill. My wife is thinking about joining, but for some reason she thinks I know about this group because its all about guns. Anybody's sig other in this group? Any info more than what's on their site? |

My wife is a relatively new shooter and is planning to go to the Kershaw chapter meeting in July. It is held at Sandhill Shooting Sports off I-20 @ hwy 601. The organizer there is Sherra Scott; we've gotten to know her from competing in 3-gun and Rimfire Challenge there. She knows her stuff and is very friendly. I encourage you to have her check it out.
TWAW also has a youtube channel; have her watch some of their videos - I'm thinking it might help her get an idea of what topics to expect will be discussed at a meeting. |
