I want to rent a mechine gun at ATP in Summerville, but the only thing I can find on their website are range memberships.
Do you have to be a member to use their range? If not does anyone know prices? |

You do not have to be a member to use their range. If you use their rental guns, you have to buy their ammo. I shoot there but have never rented a gun from them. I get my membership free because I give blood there for the Red Cross.
I think the range fee is $5, but am not sure. Others can jump in and correct/add info as needed. |
| ATP range fee is 5-7 I think. if you rent their guns you have to buy their ammo. Its not crazy expensive either(15-20 maybe, Ive never done it, but been next to people who are), and you can swap out guns all day for one fee. Im going this morning to shoot my CC, I will ask. |

Several years ago I took one of my daughters there to shoot their MP5 SMG. She than had bragging rights as the only kid in her high school to have shot a machine gun.
It was fun.  I don't recall how much it was, but between the range fee, the machine gun rental (they charge per person shooting, which was both of us), and 200 rounds of 9mm ammo, I do remember it wasn't cheap.
But it was fun, at least for a one-time thing. |
