for instance, this post... how would you go about stickying it?

im asking as i wanna see if its possible to do so and how.

If you aren't a mod you prob can't... At least on most boards it's that way. If you do have mod privileges this board has its own "in house" software but most boards you have an option to moderate threads and stickying it would be one of those options.

yea im not and i realize that.

the boards ive administrated in the past were PHP and vbb.. both of which you just edit the first post of the thread, and click sticky.

The scenario is i am trying to help a moderator in another area by step by step on this forum to walk them thru stickying.  I'll let them know what you said and see if that gets them fixed up.. thanks for the assist there man.
