If you have your SC CWP, you won't need to study at all.
The training consists of leaning which end the bullet comes out of the gun, the different types of handguns, what makes the cartridge go bang and other elementary information that you already know.
There is no testing or firing qualification.

I used this guy here:
http://www.lawfulcarry.com/

Very pleasant fellow who does everything you need for the permit (training, application, printing and photos) and also sends off the packet to Utah for you for one price of $50 and then the $50 to the state of Utah for the permmit
I traveled to Columbia from the Upstate because he did the training at a much better price than anyone here.

He has a class Monday, August 5 starting 6:30PM which I would be willing to bet you could get into if you contacted him today.

Adding a Utah NR will get you reciprocity in Georgia as well as a few other states that do not currently recognize a SC permit.

Go online, fill out form, send form, copy of SC CWP and $100 and you have a New Hampshire CWP which gives Ga, Fl and many others - all without buying gas and going to class! Check it out!

No studying needed.  Short class.

Utah gives you more states than any other, which is why so many around here teach it.

Just checked my CCP reciprocity app, and it's up to legal carry in 37 states with SC and Utah.

It is a little more time up front but it is still cheaper, the license is good for 5 years and renewal is only $15. (no retesting for renewal)
