lately, ive been really thinking about (or at least wanting to) moving out to wyoming. specifically the Jackson area as whats really making me want to move is me getting into skiing the past couple years. but really, i dont have anywhere set in stone or anything yet. that and im just tired of the midwest. to damn hot and humid.

what are some good places to move to that have some quality places to stay and quality jobs available. (for a guy in his mid twenties with no specific degree)

and any other tips?

Just realize that Jackson is the MOST expensive area to live in Wyoming.  The areas around Jackson are all nice, Star Valley, Pinedale, Dubios, Cody, and you won't spend as much $$$.

Look into working in Jackson, but living in Teton Valley, Idaho.  Grand Targhee resort is in Wyoming, but you access it from the town of Driggs, Idaho.  Be advised real estate is very high anywhere within 50 miles of Jackson.  Jobs are plentiful, lack of rentals and affordable housing is one of the biggest challenges to living here.  Often times when you apply for a job the first question in the interview is "do you have a place to live yet?"  If the answer is no you will probably go into a pile.   It's backwards compared to the real world.  Get a place to live first, then a job.
